Some pictures from my authentic Japanese hotel room - it is all very simple but complete, there are no electrical equipment except a water boiler for the Japanese green tea and a lamp for the evening moments. You sleep on a futon that is laid out on the tatami floor and you have a low table on which you can sit, write, drink tea, ponder about life, the walls are doors that slide sideways, and the sceneries are zen-like. All toilet and shower facilities are outside the room in a dedicated area. Some hotels have a full onsen facility, which includes bathing in hot water outside in nature, in separate areas for each gender. Landing in a hotel room like this is pure bliss, it is a beautiful way to encounter the more traditional side of Japan. This is the one of the guesthouses nearby the city center, about 15' walk from the station.
This blog is created as a personal journal on the road, for the fun of sharing it to those that love explorator's stories and find it motivational material for their own lives.
For me, it is a way to link with others that share the same adventurer's energy and perhaps to forge friendships. I just also like to share the abundance and wisdom of living in an era where the quantum leap of consciousness has taken place and is directly experienced in life.
So this is about direct experience, beyond the talks and theories. See what happens, indigo-style... You are invited to follow the blog. ZenWalker Komaya
